Kison Patel of Chicago, Illinois is the Founder and CEO of Principals Circle, He is an experienced M&A and Finance advisor with an extensive track record in marketing, sales, and business development. He has been an active force in both institutional and non-institutional commercial real estate ventures, as well as the structuring of commercial real estate transactions for over five years.

Kison’s responsibility includes all aspects of business management and financing. He acts as fund manager and equity and debt investor. Likewise, he develops and maintains significant relationships with key clientele, develops and implements new sales and marketing strategies, and provides consulting services to buyers and sellers in both real estate and business transactions.

Kison Patel’s business acumen encompasses a wide range of skills. He has unique expertise in leading effective sales teams and is a proven sales performer in terms of initiating, negotiating, and closing deals. Kison is thoroughly familiar with all aspects of business management and has successfully increased sales and profitability for many enterprises, with an emphasis on financing commercial properties such as hotels, multi-family, and retail centers.

Since 2006, Kison has been the founder and principal of TransAtlantic Investments & Advisory (www.tafunds.com), a private investment and advisory firm, which provides advanced mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance advisory services to financial institutions and middle market companies. At TransAtlantic, Kison is responsible for managing and sourcing investments in healthcare, energy, finance, and real estate, as well as distressed debt and mezzanine segments. He has also founded the CBK Family Companies in 2003 and serves as CEO of its component businesses, which focus on real estate and financial services. He also serves as founder and president of the National Hotel Exchange, and La Vie Massage. In addition, Kison is a member of the Board of Directors of the Care & Relief Foundation. All told, he has advised on over $50 million in developments and $90 million in acquisitions and finance.

Certainly an expert regarding the values of determination and professional development, Kison studied Business Administration at University of Nebraska in Lincoln as well as Management Information Systems at University of Illinois in Chicago. He also holds an Illinois real estate broker’s license.

Kison enjoys most outdoor activities, especially exercising and tennis. He also loves traveling, not just to get away, but to appreciate the arts, cuisine, and other traditions of many different cultures.
